Assessment of Water Sustainability Initiatives Best Practices
Situation
As part of our client’s CSR activities, they wanted to better understand the best practices of Water Sustainability Initiatives.
Objective
The objective was to understand how key players are addressing the conservation of water resources and how they can further communicate their sustainability efforts and contributions to society.
Our Work
10EQS assessed how global food and beverage companies are prioritizing and approaching water-related activities, specifically looking at positioning, segmentation, organization, and communication strategies. 10EQS evaluated similarities and differences between each player and defined strategic implications.

Results
10EQS found that water preservation and water-related activities are either the top priority or one of the core pillars of sustainability. Water may be a lower priority in specific regions and markets due to water’s abundance and low percentage of production cost. 10EQS found that water strategy encompasses the agricultural supply chain through to the final product experienced by the consumer. Key Messages tend to focus on the benefits to people, consumers and communities.
